It sounds like the sort of thing that the Silent Movie would show one of these days. I have fond memories of seeing this in...Nice piece. I have fond memories of seeing this in the 1970's as then (& well, as now), I tend to eat up all movies about the making of movies. Burt Reynolds was the movie king when I was a teen and I'm a fan of his more off-beat stuff like this. Have you seen Bogdanovich's "At Long Last Love" w/Burt? I vaguely remember its original release but have never seen it. I guess we may never see it since it would appear to be as bad as announced by those who survived actually watching it.
