That one was, as they say, a "Watergate" western. As usual Mr. Peel, another wonderful write up. Keep'em coming!

- BobAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2118574901486983093.post-59829913846085953902009-07-31T13:15:58.569-07:002009-07-31T13:15:58.569-07:00I saw this in the theater ... And it was...I actually did see this in the theater. And it wasn't very good in this 12-year-old's eyes either. I think I may have caught it again as an adult, but still didn't like it. I love the idea of a western spoof-as-WB cartoon though.

I saw HOT LEAD AND COLD FEET back then too. And when you watch Saturn 3, be sure to post a review here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2118574901486983093.post-16143976336171830142009-07-30T21:15:02.353-07:002009-07-30T21:15:02.353-07:00Ann-Margaret, bursting out of her dress...
It was...Ann-Margaret, bursting out of her dress...

It was worth repeating... and the best part of this movie. Saw it, for some reason, in the theater long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (sorry.. couldn't resist). The other plus was watching Douglas perform the number of stunts he did--the man's amazing. But, I've little to no hankerin' to see this again. Once was enough.

But, thanks for the review, Mr. Peel (your reviews are always entertaining).le0pard13https://www.blogger.com/profile/09421175808461787862noreply@blogger.com
