I still particularly love the KONG poster, whether it's ever represented that way in the film or not. And each of those scores give the film they're supporting a grandeur that they wouldn't have otherwise. I love each of them. Thanks so much for commenting!Mr. Peel aka Peter Avellinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10553482286909862975noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2118574901486983093.post-91850455694243820392011-07-22T17:21:02.109-07:002011-07-22T17:21:02.109-07:00Re: Your comment about the poster. And I felt the same way about the DeLaurentiis "Kong", too, where Kong had one foot on each of the Twin Towers, crushing a missile in one hand, jet fighters and helicopters buzzing around his head. Not quite that way in the film. But both did have composers as their secret weapons: Morricone with "Orca" and Barry with "Kong". Both scores made the movies seem better than they were.Levrockhttp://www.baystateblues.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2118574901486983093.post-45957032949427423632008-09-19T13:26:00.000-07:002008-09-19T13:26:00.000-07:00It's intereting how a movie like this can be stran...It's intereting how a movie like this can be strangely endearing, but it is. I still haven't seen it all the way through and now it's become the but of jokes on those I LOVE THE '70s shows that seem to play endlessly on VH1/VH1 Classic.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164105442273577128noreply@blogger.com
